Ruthann Devera, M.D., is a board-certified OB/GYN with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She received her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.Common conditions she treats include menopause, pelvic pain, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, urinary and fecal incontinence, ovarian cysts, and contraception options.
“I love seeing my patients have great outcomes,” says Dr. Devera. “Some women are on a journey to become a mother while other women are on the other end of their reproductive years and need guidance through their hormonal changes. Some women are looking for answers to issues they've been dealing with, such as having pelvic pain for years, never feeling validated, and never knowing why.”
Coming from a family of physicians, and seeing her father enjoy his career as a physician, Dr. Devera was influenced to follow in his footsteps, thus beginning a career in the field of medicine. Dr. Devera grew up in Long Beach, California, and partners with local non-profit organizations. She has strong community ties and strives to have a positive impact through every patient encounter.
