Roger Hinkson, M.D. has long admired healthcare professionals and became a physician because he believed it was the right thing to do. Working in occupational medicine, he most enjoys helping others and appreciates the sense of satisfaction for a job well done.
I see being able to provide healthcare as something noble and decent. I also like the diverse opportunities that occupational medicine affords.
Dr. Hinkson pursued his pre-medical education at Emory University and Georgia State University in Atlanta Georgia, and completed medical school at Albany Medical College in New York. From there, he recieved his Master's degree in Public Health from Loma Linda University in California. He also has a Master's degree in International Business Studies. Some of his past professional positions include Associate Medical Director at Paladin Managed Care Services in Santa Ana, Chief Physician at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and Medical Director of the HHC Group in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Dr. Hinkson grew up in a small, rural town in upstate New York. He still likes to get outdoors to hike and bike regularly with his family and friends. He also enjoys watching soccer, especially the World Cup and taking trips to the theater.
