Malaika Elise Graves, MD, completed her medical education at Michigan State College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. She later went on to complete her pediatric residency at the University of California, Irvine. Since 5th grade, Dr. Graves knew she wanted to become a physician and help patients when they need it the most. As a former teacher and school administrator, she discovered that she loved children of all ages and that had guided her choice to become a pediatrician.
I love partnering with patients and families to help them become physically, emotionally, and socially healthy. I also enjoy developing meaningful relationships with my patients over time. I believe everyone deserves quality health care and it is my endeavor to provide excellent medical care to my patients with kindness and compassion.
Dr. Graves was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and is proficient in speaking Spanish. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, listening to music, creating art, spending time with her husband, trying new food, and attending concerts and plays. Dr. Graves is also an amazing singer and will sing to her patients who visit on their birthdays.
