Jocelyn Craig, M.D., is board-certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her medical degree from Loma Linda University and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) at the University of California, San Francisco - Fresno (UCSF Fresno). Also, she completed a three-year sub-specialty fellowship in urogynecology and female pelvic medicine at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Continuing her relationship with her alma maters, Dr. Craig is part of the medical education teaching faculty at UCI. She is now also part of the teaching faculty for the Family Medicine Residency Program at Long Beach Medical Center.
The focus of Dr. Craig’s clinical interests and practice is the treatment of urinary and anal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse management, treatment of chronic bladder conditions including, painful bladder syndrome (often known as Interstitial Cystitis) and recurrent bladder infections. She is a certified provider of InterStim® Sacral Nerve Neuromodulation for the treatment of overactive bladder, urge incontinence and fecal incontinence. She also has advanced training in the use of the da Vinci® Xi™ Surgical System. Dr. Craig also treats patients with other disorders of the female pelvic floor including, chronic pelvic pain and issues related to sexual health. Working closely with pelvic floor physical therapists Dr. Craig can evaluate and treat women with pelvic floor dysfunction.
Dr. Craig is a certified provider of MonaLisa Touch Laser Therapy. This laser therapy promotes revitalization of vaginal tissues and can provide relief from Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM) without the use of vaginal estrogen that often affects women after menopause.
Dr. Craig has lectured, both nationally and internationally, on various topics of women's health and is actively involved in clinical research focusing on improved treatment for sexual dysfunction and anal incontinence.
