Connie Lee, MD

Connie Lee, M.D. is a fellowship-trained, board-certified surgical oncologist and currently practices in Long Beach, CA.

She received her medical degree from Brown University in Rhode Island and general surgery residency at UMass Chan Medical School.  She then completed a Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) accredited Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at University of Southern California.  Dr. Lee is board certified by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), an active member of the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO), and the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBS).

Inspired by her experiences as the daughter of immigrants, Dr. Lee possesses a strong interest in caring for underprivileged individuals who are ill-equipped to advocate for themselves.  She has always been particularly interested in the fields of women’s health and breast cancer, and attentive to the complexities involved in effective patient and physician communication and decision-making during times of distress.  She is invested in playing an active role in fundraising events to raise breast cancer awareness in the local neighborhood.

In her spare time, she is an avid artist in multiple mediums, loves travelling, and adores spending any extra time with her family.
