About Me

Dr. Carlson is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois and attended medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago and his cardiology fellowship at St. Mary Medical Center, UCLA School of Medicine in Long Beach, California. He specializes in management of advanced cardiac disease and interventional cardiology, including rotational atherectomy, cardiac catheterization, coronary stent placement, echocardiography, stress echocardiography and pacemakers. Dr. Carlson was born and raised in Jamestown, New York. He has been practicing in the South Bay for 24 years. Outside of work, Dr. Carlson enjoys swimming, skiing and photography.
