Elizabeth Upson, MSN, FNP-C

Elizabeth Upson, MSN, FNP-C, studied to become a nurse practitioner at California State University, Long Beach. She chose a career in medicine because from a young age, she always cared about others and wanted to make people feel better. Elizabeth specifically chose to become a family nurse practitioner because being part of the team between provider and patient is an honor and a privilege. While working as a medical and front office assistant through nursing school, she was inspired by both her professors and nurse practitioner colleagues to pursue a career in the medical field. Elizabeth believes establishing a trusting and caring relationship between healthcare providers and patients is one of the greatest joys of being a healthcare provider.

I enjoy working together with my patients to achieve their healthcare goals. My goal as a provider is to give each of my patients inclusive and empathetic care.

Elizabeth grew up in Irvine, California. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking with her dog, paddle boarding, concerts, cooking, reading, and traveling.
