Avanta Collier, MD

Dr. Collier's passion for medicine originated at a young age. She is a twin and was fascinated by how her sister and she could look so much alike. Her quest for answers took her to medicine. During her dermatology rotation at the end of her fourth year of medical school, she worked in adult and pediatric dermatology clinics and saw firsthand how conditions like vitiligo, psoriasis, acne, keloids and skin cancer can be devastating to person's health, self-image, and overall quality of life. "This motivated me to pursue a career in dermatology so I may treat these conditions and improve someone's life," she says. Dr. Collier looks forward to providing excellent medical care to the community members.
